Minnie Love Caldarola (1923 - 2011) Minnie Love Caldarola, 88, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Memorials: For those desiring, memorials may be to the Disabled American Veterans. Minnie Love was born June 29, 1923, in Fort Worth. She was a native Texan with her family roots dating back to the Civil War era. An intellectual, Minnie was an avid reader and a very talented artist operating her own studio where she was a portrait artist. Minnie was also a fashion illustrator for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram during the 1940s-1950s. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Caldarola, and by Frank Caldarola. Survivors: Daughter, Victoria Calder and husband, Skip Shaw; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Published in Star-Telegram on September 22, 2011
