Graveside services for Frances Youngblood Green, 90 of Valencia, PA, formerly of Blanchard, LA. will be held 10:00 A.M, Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Glade Creek Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Terry Smith officiating. Mrs. Green passed away on Monday, September 12, 2011 in Valencia, PA. She was born on October 10, 1920 in Gilmer to Samuel and Eva Beavers Youngblood. Mrs. Green was a teacher in the Upshur County Area, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard LA. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Green of Valencia, PA, formerly of Blanchard, LA,; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Terry Smith of Valencia, PA; brother Rex Youngblood of Gilmer; sister, Rachel Hart of Gilmer; grandchildren, Jeffrey Smith and wife, Christi; Kristy Huntsman and husband, Lance and great granddaughter, Taylor Huntsman. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Emanuel and brother, Ardell Youngblood. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 16, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
