L. M. [ LaFayette ] Gunter, 69, funeral will be held Monday with burial in Hillcrest cemetery. He died May 6 at Norfolk. He was born September 16, 1912 at Ewing to Jim and Elise (Hoke) Gunter. He was married on Oct. 29, 1935 to Louise Thoendel at Bartlett. He was survived by his wife, 2 sons, 5 grandchildren, 5 sisters: Eljenia** Hord at Ewing, Lavina Switzer at Clearwater, Jean Schavik at Chambers, Isabelle Cornin in Missouri, Everal [ location not shown ]. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, 4 brothers.
