Bio
Minerva Jane "Janie" Strain was born on October 23, 1869 to Priscella Mankins Strain and Robert Milton Strain in the Harris Community of Washington County, Arkansas. Janie married David Lincoln Wilson on October 31, 1898 in the Strain Community of Washington County. Their eldest son, Franklin was born and died in 1901. In 1903, their daughter Mamie Priscella was born, followed by Roberta Cecile in 1905. In 1908 Gladys Jane came along. Dave and Janie raised their daughters in the Baldwin Commmunity of Washington County. Janie died on November 10, 1955 at her home on Bear Mountain in Baldwin. She was laid to rest beside Dave, their son, and Dave's first wife, Annie Roberts Wilson.
