Rock Springs Miner, Apr 25, 1965 MRS. ORABELL LANE Mrs. Orabell Lane, 82, died Wednesday evening in an Evanston hospital, following a long illness. Born in Elliott, Mo., May 6, 1882, she had been a resident of Rock Springs for the last 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Lane, Dec. 22, 1959. Mrs. Lane was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Louise) Stodick, Rock Springs; one son, Edgar Lewis, Rock Springs; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ed (Evelyn) Christianson, Billing, Mont.; one stepson, Eugene Lane, Rock Springs; five sisters, Mrs. S.G. Brown, Mexico, Mo.; Mrs. Ernest Truby and Mrs. Loreta Cook, Springfield, Ill., and Mrs. Sophie French and Mrs. G.E. Cowley, Higbee, Mo.; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Vase Funeral Home, the Rev. Michael Biro officiating. Interment was in the family plot in Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Angelo Vase, Vitas Compton, Ray Compton, Charles Wilkinson, Michael Budak and Joseph Martin.
