Bio

Ova Lambdin Shawnee, OK resident Ova Lambdin died Tuesday at a local hospital. She was 92. Mrs. Lambdin was born July 27, 1906, in Wizard Wells, Texas, to William Nelson and Texie Nelson. She married Donald Bruce Lambdin on April 4, 1952, in Johnson City, Texas. She was a retired secretary with Adjustment Services of Oklahoma and was involved with the Elks Lodge in Lawton for many years. She had lived in Shawnee since 1980. Survivors include her sister, Rubena Keen, Bay City, Texas; son-in-law, George Lee, Shawnee; grandsons and their wives, Michael and Patty Lee, Clinton; Craig and Belinda Lee, Tecumseh; grandson, Richard Lee, Shawnee; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters and one grandson. Memorial graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, at Highland Cemetery in Lawton under the direction of Gaskill-Owens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Mixon officiating.
