Wife of Robert Joseph "Bob" Addams (1938-2001). Daughter of Charles Levi Comstock and Wilma Jane (Rogers) Comstock. Kansas City Star, The (MO) - October 12, 1991 Deceased Name: VIRGINIA M. ADDAMS Virginia M. Addams, 48, Independence, died Oct. 10, 1991, at a hospital in Omaha, Neb. She was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Addams was a clerk at the Circle K store in Lee's Summit. She was a member of the Tabernacle Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Addams, and a son, James M. Addams, both of the home; a daughter, Carol A. Thomas, and her mother, Wilma J. Comstock, both of Independence; three brothers, Charles W. Comstock, Gladstone, Edward L. Comstock, Blythe, Calif., and Thomas G. Comstock Sr., Shawnee, Okla.; and two sisters, Wanda McGee, Grandview, and Beverly A. Peterson, Kansas City. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel; burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Virginia Addams Fund at the First City Bank.
