Bio

Born Dec 3, 1902 in Eastland County, Texas, he was a longtime Childress resident. Reared in Kirkland, he moved to Childress in 1950 and farmed until 1990 when he retired due to illness. Born to William Sam "Doc" and Ollie Hardin, Gene was one of 12 brothers. He and Inus Young Miller were married April 28, 1950 in Childress. He was a member of the Church of Christ for 46 years.
