Dorothy Marie Taylor passed away September 11, 2011 at the age of 81. She was born August 3, 1930 in Lyford, Texas to John and Ivy Ply. She was a resident of Ingleside since 1952 and retired from the City of Ingleside. She served on the Library Board and the Housing Authority. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Tom 'Buddy' Taylor; brother, John B. Ply Jr. and his wife June. She is survived by her two sons, David Taylor (Debbie) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, William 'Bill' Taylor (Terry) of Pineville, Louisiana; daughter Cathy Jordan (Tom) of Ingleside, Texas; eight grandchildren, Ann Malkoc (Adis), Todd Jordan (Jennifer), Tom 'Buddy' Jordan (Casey), Travis Taylor, Brooke Taylor, Matthew Taylor, David Cook, Kevin Cook; seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from noon - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass. Graveside service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at The Palms Memorial Gardens, Portland, TX.
