She was adopted to the Allen family from Spring Hill Children's Home birth father James Houston Norman birth mother Mary L "Mattie" Davis Norman (died and that was when she went to children's home. Father was about 65 at that time) ======================================= She was adopted by Alfred Potter and Lena Givens Allen.
