John Lloyd Arnall was the second of eight children born to Richard Fillmore Arnall and Dora Gertrude Ellis. John Lloyd Arnall. 101 year-old Tulsa native, John Lloyd Arnall passed way September 10, 2011. Amazingly he lived independently until he parted this life. He is survived by many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, greatgreat-grandchildren, and his sister Opal. Lloyd's favorite decade was "the one following The Great Depression when life was regenerating and stablizing." His most memorable inventions were the Model T Ford, television and lights for baseball fields. Lloyd always loved baseball, classic western movies, Oreos, pies and ice cream abound! Anyone who knew Lloyd would describe him as the sweetest man with enormous integrity. His work included mainly farming and construction and he always kept a flourishing garden. His longevity could be attributed to not smoking or drinking and living by his words of wisdom "slow down, smell the roses, enjoy one another and life!" His kindness and generosity were unmatched and will never be forgotten by those who loved him. This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 10/2/2011.
