Bio

Nancy was the daughter of George Smith & Elizabeth (Earls). She married Hiram Wilson in Rowan Co, NC in 1812. They came to Ashe County, NC in 1816, the area that later became Watauga County. According to their grandson, Rev. Wm Albert Wilson they are both buried in the Wilson Cemetery in the Mast Community, on land that belong to them. Hiram & Nancy had nine (9) children: 1) John W. 1815-1856, m. Mary Mast 2) Lucretia, 1818-aft 1900, m. "Big Ike" 3) Sarah, 1820-1902? m. Dudley Farthing 4) Little Ike, 1822-1864, m. Caroline Greer 5) Ellen, 1824-1880, m. Reuben Farthing 6) Albert P. 1826-1929, m. Eliz. Council 7) Clarissa, c1830-1880? m.Geo. Younce 8) Hiram Jr. c1833-1863 m. Eliz. Baird 9) Wm.
