FORT WORTH — Joy "Memaw" Farley, 78, a homemaker, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, in Mesquite. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Memorials: American Red Cross. Joy "Memaw" Farley was born June 28, 1927, in Vernon to G.W. and Geneva Reeves. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Joy loved to play computer games, listen to music and watch movies. She was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Farley Sr. Survivors: Sons, John N. Farley Jr. of Arlington, Scott Farley of Crowley and Mark Farley and wife, Darla, of Weatherford; daughter, Becky Newman and husband, Ron, of Mesquite; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
