Mary Jean Jeffries Jordan, 89, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 at her home. She was born December 27, 1921 in Glenpool Oklahoma to Harry and Julia Jeffries. She was married to Marshall Otie Jordan on December 16, 1938. She worked for Sapulpa Public Schools as a Food Service Manager for 25 years, where she was awarded a distinguished service award. She was also a member of Victory Christian Church. Jean was a very loving mother to her two sons and daughters in law, in addition to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchild. To her family the most valuable gift she gave was her legacy of faith. She was a strong prayer warrior and no matter who came into her life, they saw the love she had for Jesus Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall O. Jordan, her parents Harry and Julia Jeffries, her sister Virginia Mable Harris, and her grandsons Joe David Jordan and Teddy Jordan. She is survived by her two sons and wives; sister, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild. Her family would like to thank the many people who helped care for her including the staffs at Grace Hospice, Visiting Nurses Association and Sooner Home Health Care . Funeral arrangements will be 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Grace Hospice.
