Bio

Martha "Mattie" (Deaton) Adams was the wife of Benjamin Isaac Adams. Her parents Hiram Hunt and Mariah "Mary" Ann (Anders) Deaton are buried at the Deaton Cemetary (Cemetery) as well as her sister Laura Paralee (Deaton)(Waters) Adams. "Mattie" lived in the "Bonanza" community even back when it was Hopkins County, Texas until 1870 when it was newly forming the northeast section of Rains County, Texas, U.S.A. By one of the great-great-grandsons Douglas Micah Vail of Point, Rains County, Texas.
