Bio

Hunting Accident Proves Fatal George Duffin, 45, prominent in Salt Lake business, civic and church organizations, who was accidentally shot by a companion while at camp on the Fishlake district during a hunting trip and brought to the hospital here Thursday morning, died of injuries received. Amputation of the left leg was effected in a desperate attempt to save Mr. Duffin's life, but he died early Saturday. He is survived by his widow; a son, a daughter, and several brothers and sisters. He was a relative of Dr. D. B. Gottfredson of Richfield. Funeral services were held Monday at noon in the Yalecrest L. D. S. ward chapel, Salt Lake.
