Clarence Broze Texas City — Clarence Broze, Sr., 80 of Texas City passed away Saturday, February 9, 2008 at his home in Texas City. Mr. Broze was born January 25, 1928 in Cameron, Texas, the son of Jacob and Annie Broze. He was a longtime resident of Texas City. He served in the United States Army and returned home to become a machinist at Amoco Oil Company in Texas City. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in La Marque. He was preceded in death by his wife Vera Broze. Clarence is survived by his one son and daughter-in-law Clarence "Jr." and Janet Broze of Dickinson, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Mike Hennington of League City, Texas, Cindy and Max Statton of Cypress, Texas; seven grandchildren and their spouses Grady and Kim Mack, Jason Hennington, Chris and Beth Hennington, Josh and Tara Broze, Tiffany Broze, Natalie Statton and Chelsea Statton; one great grandson Brayden Krengle. Beloved friend and companion for eight years Ann Black. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, with a Vigil Service at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with Msgr. T. Joseph Culver, officiating. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas. Pallbearers will be Grady Mack, Jason Hennington, Chris Hennington, Josh Broze, Charles Mallini, Jr., Bobby Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Mallini,Sr., George Parker and R.M.
