Bio
Born in Stanton, Stanton Co., Nebraska on Oct. 6, 1887. Married Elizabeth Ann Abele, also from Nebraska, 1917, Pueblo, Colorado, Elizabeth was in Colorado for supposed tuberculosis treatment but later found it was lead poisoning from working for the newspaper. One son Walter James. William broke his back in an accident in the Giuliano Mine, Fremont Co., Colorado July 18, 1926 and succumbed to those injuries three months later just after his 39 birthday. Burial Lakeside Cemetery, Canon City, Fremont Co., Co. Oct 21, 1926.
