Apparently there is not a headstone. But feel sure he is buried here. His parents also could be buried here. Another theory is that Elisha died somewhere between Alabama and Texas.

Son of Ellender "Nelly" Dearman and Elisha Turner Bearden, Sr. From D Bearden (50330081): Feel certain Elisha is buried at the stated location. The theory of being him buried between Al and TX is incorrect.. According to census records and location of births of grandchildren, the family moved to Ellis County TX in 1894.
