Bio

Barney Willenborg of north of Effingham, Illinois, died at his home about 7 o'clock Sunday morning, after having been sick for some time. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from St Anthony's Church , with burial taking place in the parish cemetery. Mr Willenborg is survived by his wife, nee Koester; three sons: Allie, Clarence and Richard Willenborg; one daughter Mrs Ruth Bourgeois; and one brother Anton Willenborg. Mr Willenborg was 68 years of age and had been a prominent farmer in Effingham County during his lifetime. Information from Teutoplolis Press, Teutopolis, Illinois, October 14, 1937.
