Marguriette Cato Dismuke (1921 - 2011) Marguriette Cato Dismuke, 90, passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at North Davis Church of Christ. Interment: Talco Cemetery, Talco. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home. She was born and raised in Talco, Titus County. After graduating from East Texas State College she married Jerry Dismuke on Aug. 27, 1941, and became an Air Force wife. She joined her family as active members in the Church of Christ as they moved, being members of the North Davis Church of Christ since 1970. She was a loyal and diligent servant of God. While working with her husband, Jerry, as he was serving as an elder at North Davis, she also served God and others through the Classics Ministry, Mission Printing and Hearts and Hands Ministry. During all of her adult life she was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dismuke; son, Woody Dismuke; father, James Louis Cato; mother, Edith Cato; sister, Christelle Cato; and granddaughter, Lauren Dismuke. Survivors: Daughter, Darra Dismuke; son, Bill Dismuke and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Alisa Boatner and husband, Brett, and their children, Mia and Barrett, Wes Dismuke and wife, Beth, and their children, Aaron and Jake, Ryke Dismuke and wife, Michelle, and their children, Daxton and Addy, Justin Cook and wife, Annie, and their son Gavin, Nyssa Schuetter and husband, Chuck, and their children, Angel and Brynn, Jessica Dismuke, Taylor Avaritt and husband, Daniel, and their daughter, Elliott.
