The following article was published in the Big Spring Daily Herald on Thursday, May 7, 1964: Mrs. Halfmann Dies, Services Slated Friday Rosary will be recited at ? p.m. today for Mrs. Pauline Marie Halfmann, 69, St. Lawrence community. The rites will be in the Nalley-Pickle Chapel. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Rev. Ernest Porch officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence cemetery with Nalley-Pickle in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Halfmann, who had made St. Lawrence her home since 1947, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in a Big Spring hospital. She had been ill only a short time. She was the wife of A. D. Halfmann, whom she married Nov. 15, 1913 in Shiner. She was born May 15, 1894, in Halletsville and lived in Ballinger for a number of years. She was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband; five sons, Victor, Ross, Walter and Ralph Halfmann, all of St. Lawrence, and Harvey Halfmann, San Angelo; three daughters, Mrs. Norman McDaniel, Garden City, Mrs. Robert Conner, Midland, Mrs. John Cline, Big Spring; one brother, Emil Sceafer, Moulton; two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Spies, Houston, Mrs. F. J. Klosel, Shiner. There are 26 grandchildren. Nephews will be pallbearers.
