Bio

Rites Friday For Garland Woman Garland, Texas, Jan. 28 (Special). Funeral services for Mrs. Claude Shugart, 30, popular young matron, who died at a Dallas hospital Wednesday evening following an extended illness, will be held at the First Christian Church of Garland, Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., with the pastor, the Rev. C.D. Poston, officiating. Interment will be in the K. of P. Cemetery. Mrs. Shugart was active in all religious affairs, and the whole community is shocked at her death. She is survived by her husband; small son, Prston, of Garland; also by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.C. Preston, and one brother Edward Preston, of Dallas.
