Bio
Christian was born in Germany To Henry Ahrendt & Minnie Butefur Ahrendt. He was the 3rd in a family of 8 children. On 21 Dec. 1877 in Micklenburg, Schwerin, Germany he Married Wilhelmina Wallenburg. She was a kindergarten teacher. He was a teacher also. Came to America in 1883 with 2 of their children. Locating in Buffalo County,Nebraska. In February 1885 they came to Custer County, Nebraska. They had 7 children - 3 survived. Anna Mary - Married - Phil K. Homan Hulda Christina - Married - George A.
