born to Raymond and Ethel (Wilcox) Rose. wed to Charles Hintz on July 18, 1937, at the Congregational parsonage at Hartington Lois is survived by her four sons, LeRoy and Janice Hintz of Norfolk, Dale and Geraldine Hintz of Greeley, Colo., John and Rozanne Hintz of Dixon, Kenneth and Cheri Hintz of Belden; 11 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one stepgreat-great-grandchild. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1985, son Charles in an automobile accident in 1983, two sisters, one brother, one brother-in-law, one stepgrandson and best friend Illa McLain.
