Bio
The Corsicana Daily Sun (Corsicana, TX); 6 Apr 1911, p. 8 Died This Afternoon. Jacob O'Dell, aged 72 years, and a resident of Corsicana for a number of years, died at his home on West Twelfth avenue this afternoon at 3 o'clock after a long illness, and the remains will be interred in Oakwood cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, the funeral being from the family's home. The deceased was a good citizen and is survived by his wife and several grown children. ∼ Son of William H. O'Dell and Margaret R. Beeler; Served in the Union Army, Private Co. C, 4th Reg. of TN Cav.
