Born in 1911 and died in 1991 she married Hendon Garrett on April 19, 1941 and they shared their birthdays. She is buried in Orchard Mesa Masonic Section 2. Obituary for Elizabeth Garnett: Elizabeth L. "Lilah" Garnett was born June 21, 1911, to David M. and Jessie (Staggs) Richards in Emhouse, Texas where she spent her childhood and attended school. She married Hendon "Tex" Garnett on April 19, 1941, in Emhouse. He died June 22, 1982, in Grand Junction. Mrs. Garnett lived in Dallas, Texas, before moving to Grand Junction. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Grand Junction. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She is survived by her family, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her parents and five brothers are deceased.
