Darlington Herald, Darlington, Montgomery, Indiana, Thursday, February 27, 1941, page 1. Attend Last Rites for Mary C. Saidla. Mr. and Mrs. J. Wilbur Cooper, Mrs. Martha Saidla, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Saidla attended funeral services on Friday afternoon for Mrs. Mary Charlotte Saidla who passed away last Wednesday after an illness of five months. Burial was at Oak Hill cemetery. Mrs. Saidla was the widow of William A. Saidla, a brother of the late Joshua Saidla of Darlington. She and her family lived in the Gravelly Run neighborhood for many years and had lived her entire life in Montgomery county. Surviving are four children, Leo E., of New York City, Glen E. Saidla of Crawfordsville, Claude of Auburn, Ala., and Mrs. Donnis Saidla Widener of Crawfordsville, a brother Edgar Pine of Colfax, a sister Mrs. Julia Dunbar of Washington, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
