Published in the Athens Review June 25, 1936 VIRGIL KIRKPATRICK DIES AT EUSTACE; BURIAL MONDAY His death caused by congestion which followed a long stay in the water while on a swimming and fishing trip, Virgil Kirkpatrick, 15, died at the family home near Eustace at 4 o'clock Monday morning. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with interment at Goshen. The services were conducted by Rev. J.W. Williford, Baptist minister. The boy is survived by his father, W.T. Kirkpatrick, long time resident of the Eustace-Goshen section.
