Services for Mr. C. D. Willis were Monday, August 15, 2011 at Occupy #1 Baptist Church, Pitkin, Brother Bob Galloway and Reverend David Shaw officiated. Music was provided by Reverend J. D. Ford. Burial followed in Occupy #1 Cemetery. Mr. Willis, 89, of Alexandria passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church, Alexandria and retired from the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Nancy Willis; sons, Clifton Ray Willis and Billy Odell Willis. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 71 years, Maggie Johnson Willis; son, Milton Evans Willis and wife, J. Melissa; daughter, Joy Delaine Dotson and husband, Ben; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Services were under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria
