Bio
Cleveland County, NC was form in 1841 from parts of Lincoln and Rutherford Counties. 1820 and 1830 US Federal Census finds William Graham in Lincoln County. His widow, Cynthia Jeffries Graham, was head of household in Lincoln County 1840 US Federal Census. Patterson Springs was originally a small farming community called "Swangs". William George Patterson purchased the property that held three springs from the Epps Family. Archibald Graham and Archibald Graham Jr were both listed in Lincoln County, NC 1800 US Federal Census as well as other Graham families. ∼ Aged 41 years, 11 months, 19 days "He left a wife and 8 children."
