Greenville (Texas) Herald Banner, Thursday, 12 May 1977, page A2, Deaths, Green Services for Houston Horton Green, 52, of Mabank, will be at 10 a.m. today at Eubank Chapel in Mabank with Rev. James Jacobs officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at the Tidwell Cemetery. Mr. Green died Tuesday in Mabank. He was born in Hunt County on Nov. 30, 1924, the son of Dorsey and Daphine Trotter Green. He was a business machine salesman and member of the North Way Baptist Church of Dallas. Survivors are a son, Phil Green of Mabank; a daughter, Carla Green of Houston; a brother, Guy Green of Mabank; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Granbury and Mrs. Veta Hamm of Dallas. Pallbearers will be Roger Barnett, Dale Boehme, Tony Everett, Phil Green, Ken Greena (sic) and Jerry McDonald.
