Elwert Oswald Hobratschk, 72, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his residence. Elwert was born in La Grange, Texas on June 2, 1939, the son of the late Oswald and Ruth Johanne (Wiesenhutter) Hobratschk. He married Helene Katharina Euler on March 26, 1966 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Warda, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and was stationed in Germany. Elwert worked as a Machinist and retired after 42 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helene; four daughters: Donna Pugh and husband Steve of Anderson, Lori Longoria of Houston, Lisa Wood and husband Rusty, Tammy Shaw and husband Jason all of Willis; four brothers: Harvey Hobratschk and wife Linda of La Grange, Lee Roy Hobratschk and wife Kim of Sealy, Leslie Hobratschk and Glenn Hobratschk and wife Brenda of Houston; one sister: Jane Chapman and husband Wayne of La Grange; twelve grandchildren: Michael, Michelle, April, Amy, Fernando Jr., Andrew, Jeffrey, Jessica, Michael, Corey, Erika, and Macy.
