Bio
Pat is the child of David and Ruth Weems. Around 1903, he marries Nevada Sherman McLendon James. They appear in the 1910 Precinct 3, Borden, Texas census with Nevada's 3 sons from her first marriage, Cyrus, Byrd and Orestes, and 2 other sons, Dill A. Weems (abt. 1905 Texas) and Jesse B. Weems (abt. 1907 Texas). In 1918, he states on his WWI draft card that he lives in Burkburnett, Wichita, Texas, USA and is a self-employed farmer. In 1920, he and his family appear in the Fluvanna, Scurry, Texas, USA census. Orestes, Dill, and Buford are living with them and two more children, Fanny Weems¸ born abt. 1911 in Texas, and Luke Weems, born abt. 1914 in Texas. In 1930, Pat and Nevada appear in the Fluvanna, Scurry, Texas, USA census with Fanny and Luke. He and his wife had another son, David Weems, born February 4, 1905 and died March 24, 1996. His death certificate reflects he is a retired farmer and lived in Ranger, Eastland, Texas, USA the last 17 years of his life. David A. Weems and Faye Weems are buried at Evergreen Cemetary along with Pat Weems and Nevada Weems. in the Weems family plot
