Bio

Lorene Rose Kohutek, age 89, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. She was born on October 22, 1935, in Granger, Texas, to Frank Kohutek and Louise (Mikulencak) Kohutek. A devoted daughter of the Church, she found joy and peace in her faith. She is survived by her nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Louise, sister, Alice Jacoby and brother, Albert Kohutek. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena, Texas on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 10am. Burial followed at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rowena, beginning at 9am, prior to the funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or your favorite charity. A special thanks to Concho Health and Rehabilitation Center - Eden, Brayden Park Assisted Living and Memory Care - San Angelo, Gentiva Hospice, and Fr. Reggie Odima of St. Charles Catholic Parish, Eden. "Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her."
