Lois Goldie was born to Archie (née ADAMS) and Homer HANKINS, April 7, 1919, in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She grew up and lived her entire life in the Capitol Hill area in south OKC, except a short time spent in San Antonio, Texas, when her husband was stationed at Brooks Field before he was sent overseas in World War II. She was married to Royce Yeaman for over 54 yrs (1940). Lois, Royce & their two children all completed their educations at Lee Elementary, Capitol Hill Jr. & Sr. High Schools. She was an active member of the alumni group Athletes of the 30's until the last few yrs. Lois attended Okla. College for Women & OU. She was past president of the Lee School PTA. She had been a member of the Capitol Hill United Methodist Church since 1940, and she served in the Children's Division for 50 yrs. 48 of those years were devoted to teaching the Kindergartners. She was preceded in death by her parents & husband. Mother of: *Douglas *Nancy
