Bio

Harold Francis Delaney, age 92, passed away Sun., Aug. 5, 2011, with his sweetheart and wife of 72 years., Audrey, at his side. He was born Dec. 2, 1918, to Preal Losser and John Delaney. Raised in Murray, Utah, Harold married Audrey Booth on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1939. Three sons blessed their marriage: Kenneth, Gary L., and Gordan. He was a member of the LDS Church. Retired from Kennecott Copper, Harold was an avid golfer and bowler. Harold is survived by his wife; two sons, Gary (Marjorie) and Gordan (Sandy); 17 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings (Bud and John Delaney, Thelma Neilson, Mary Broad-head), son Kenneth, daughter Helen Cracroft, grandson Robert Delaney.
