Bio

L.W. "Walter" Kelley died 30 Sep 1897, and was buried in St. John's Cemetery. He was born 16 Apr 1860, west of Dongola, the oldest son of Daniel M. and Almarinth Kelley. Their youngest son, George Kelley, a brother of Walter, died a few years ago. Walter married on 30 Dec 1885, Alice Barringer. He joined the Presbyterian Church in 1894. He left a wife, four daughters, a brother, John Kelley of Anna, and five sisters. (Published in the Jonesboro Gazette October 9, 1897)
