Bessie Ann (Holub) Zbranek, 90, of La Grange, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2010 at the Care Inn in La Grange. Bessie was born in Wallis, Texas on February 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Peter and Annie (Galia) Holub. She married Edwin Zbranek on February 13, 1949 in Wallis, Texas. Bessie worked as a Janitor at Fayette Memorial Hospital in La Grange. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by son David DeMarco and wife Catherine of La Grange, daughter Betty Regan of Buda, two grandchildren: Kim Sanders and Belinda Richter; three great grandchildren: Lauren and Landen Sanders and Aubrey Richter; and one step grandchild: Crystal Richter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin, three sisters, two brothers, and son-in-law Ronald John Regan. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Plum. A rosary will be recited prior to the funeral service beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
