Memorial service for Alice Waller Glasscock, 92 of Auburn is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Jeffcoat-Trant Chapel. Reverend Donna Sue Waller Roberts is officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30 -11:00 a.m. prior to the service at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home. Mrs. Glasscock passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Oak Park Nursing Home. She was born November 23, 1920 in Lee County. She lived most of her life in the Auburn and Lee County area. She was employed and retired from Auburn University with over 40 years service. Her final position was with Alabama Educational Television Network with 30 years involvement. Miss Alice looked forward to and enjoyed her Whatley reunion from her mother's side of the family. She was preceded in death by her husband, M. R. "Red" Glasscock and son, Peyton J. Moore, III. Survivors include son, Mike Moore; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Waller Moore; grandchildren, Peyton J. (Ann) Moore, IV and Sarah Claire (Michael) Dixon; great grandson, Ryan Peyton Moore and several nieces and nephews. The family respectfully declines the gift of flowers and suggests memorials may be directed to East Alabama Services for the Elderly 1300 Commerce Drive Auburn, AL 36830.
