Bio

Linnie Jaunita Parker graduated from Mingue HIgh school and beauty school at Fort Worth. She married J.W. "Jake" Yarbrough at Strawn on 8 December 1945. The couple lived in Denver City. She owned / operated a beauty shop for 30 years. The couple moved to Breckenridge in 1985. Mrs. Yarbrough's hobby was gardening. She was a charter member of the Thurber Historical Association and served as secretary for many years. She was one of the last survivors of the early Thurber days. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and was active in church work all her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; three sisters. Nephews served as pallbearers.
