Lennie Rice Englebert Sansing WOODSTOCK Lennie Rice Englebert Sansing, age 100, died July 11, 2009. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Simpson and Rev. Jim Collins officiating and Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Union Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Vance. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. "Miss Lennie", as she was known, celebrated her 100th birthday last September. She was born September 28, 1908, in Bessemer. She was the daughter of Nancy and William Washington Englebert and the widow of the late James D. Sansing. She was one of 11 children. She was a member of Bibbville Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, William Thomas (Madge) of Myrtlewood, Meria Gillbert (Johnnie) of Palmbay, Fla., and Donnie H. Sansing of Woodstock; her brother, Daniel Englebert of Green Valley, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
