Frank L. Purdy Dies Funeral services for Frank L. Purdy of Woodburn who died early Wednesday morning in the Silverton hospital will be held at St. Luke's Catholic church in Woodburn Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Recitation of the rosary will be held at the church, Friday, Feb. 27, at 7:15 p.m. Mr. Purdy, a retired farmer, was born in Oshkosh, Wisc., June 13, 1877, and came to Woodburn from Nebraska in 1939. He was married February 26, 1900, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and his wife Ludmilla survives him. Other survivors include two sons, Mark J. Purdy of Mt. Angel and Arthur H. Purdy of Yamhill; three sisters, Ellen Woten of Couer d'Alene, Idaho, Katherine Ray of Boise, Idaho, and Ethel Cox of Fullerton, Neb.; one brother, Manuel O.
