Bio
Griffin Walker Tuley, 79, died at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at his home in Van Alstyne. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of a son from Virginia but will be conducted by Fox-Fanning Funeral Home. Interment will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Tuley was born October 19 1868, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Tuley. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Bill Tuley of Plano, Marvin Tuley of Van Alstyne, Preston Tuley of Terrell, M. S. Tuley of Huntsville and Charles Tuley of the Navy, stationed in Virginia; six daughters, Mrs. Emily Sauls of Aubrey, Mrs. Edna Morris and Mrs. Lillie Jay of Van Alstyne, Mrs. Laura Angle of Sherman, Mrs. B. M. Biby and Mrs. Laurine Coonrod, both of Denison; two brothers, L. A. Tuley of Lancaster and M. M. Tuley of Sherman; 27 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
