She is the daughter of Jerome Louis and Willie Mae Horelica. She has two sisters Frances Sims and JoAnn Booher. She was married to Odus P Gautney, Jr and was the mother to Odus (Skip) Gautney, III and Peggy Gautney Fitzgerald. She had three granddaughters and two grandsons.
