Craig Thomas Batten, age 49, Lincoln, NE died Monday, January 24, 2000. Craig was born February 2, 1950 to William and Patricia Batten. He was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Lincoln; VA Chapter 727; U.S. Marine Corps. He served in Vietnam as a door gunner, 1st Marine Air Wing. He is survived by his wife Melody; son, Joel Batten of Lincoln; daughters, Angelyce Batten, Angelicque Russell, both of Lincoln; father, William Batten of Lincoln; brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Debra Batten, Wilmington, SC, Eric and Kyle Batten North Carolina, Doug and Cindy Batten, Beaverton, OR, Brian and Deb Batten, Lincoln, James Batten, Lincoln; sisters and brother-in-law, Sandy Batten, Omaha, Deb and Norm Schulte, Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia. Services are pending at Wyuka Funeral Home. Pastor Dr. Luke R. Schnake handling services.
