REMAINS W. E. BOYKIN ARRIVE YESTERDAY (Published in Lufkin News, Apr. 3, 1925 The remains of W. E. Boykin arrived over the noon E & W yeserday afternoon, funeral services being held at the Methodist church at 3 o'clock with interment at Glendale Cemetery. The immediate family and numerous friends were present at the church to pay their last respects to the memory of this former Lufkin citizen, who was born and reared in the county, and who left a few years ago to take up his abode in San Antonio, where he held an important government position. The deceased had a large circle of friends, was at one time engaged in the grocery business here, and a short time before leaving for the city which he was making his home at the time of his death was Postmaster for Lufkin. He leaves a wife and daughter at Houston, two brothers and two sisters of this county and numerous friends to mourn his demise and regret his passing away. __________________________________________
