Texas death certificate 73934 shows parents were Thomas and Dora (Harper) Stewart; husband of Vada E. Stewart. The Belton Journal - Belton, TX Thursday - 28 November 1963 Page 6 - Column 2 Tommie W. Stewart Buried Sunday Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday for Tommie W. Stewart, 74, who died Thursday morning at his home after a brief illness. Services were held in Hewett Funeral Chapel in Temple with Rev. Alvin Reese Sutton officiating, assisted by Dr. W. K. Sisk. Burial was in McDowell Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Stewart. Floyd Baggerly, Bob Baggerly, Roy Glen Rumfield, Ray Culp and Edward Parsons. Mr. Stewart was born Oct. 29, 1889 at Baird. He was married in 1942 to Vada Baggerly Tate, and had lived in Belton since that time, except for a shot time in 1945-46, spent in Brownwood. He is survived by his wife, five chldren, W. C. Stewart of Bellflower, Calif.; Lewis H. Stewart of Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Ethel Christian of Abeline; Mrs. Lorraine Galloway of Guthrie, Okla.; Miss Sharon Stewart of Belton; one step-son, Clyde Tate, of Spokane, Wash.; one brother, Roy Stewart of Athens; three sisters, Miss Alma Powell of Athens; Mrs. Nora Rouch and Mrs. Mildred Hughes, both of San Antonio; 12 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. -END-
