Herald Democrat, January 19, 1997, Denison, Texas: Services for Gracie Frances Flowers, 86, who died January 16, 1997 were held at 1 p.m., January 18, 1997 in Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Deward Mullen officiated and burial was in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Flowers was born August 5, 1910 in Grayson County. She married Floyd Simpson Flowers on November 25, 1925 in Gainesville. She worked at Poole Manufacturing as a machine operator for 13 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Rebecca Lodge and the AARP. She had been a member of Luella Baptist Church since 1922. Surviving are her sons, Ronald Floyd Flowers of Garland and Houston Ray Flowers of Fairfield ; daughters, Helen Mae Bell Gibby of Howe , Francis Johnson of Sherman and nine grandchildren ; 20 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
