Mike Walker officiating. Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery, with Mrs. Eldridge's grandsons serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Eldridge died 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 25, 1889, in the Tidwell community to Logan and Becky Moore Jacobs. She married W. M. Eldridge, in 1908, in Greenville. She belonged to the Methodist faith. Survivors include eight sons, Ray, Odell and Charles Eldridge, all of Greenville; Billy Eldridge, of Wolfe City; William Eldridge Jr., of Mesquite; James Eldridge, of Garland; John R. Eldridge, of Killeen and Cleburne Eldridge, of McKinney; two daughters, Mrs. Susie Watson, Of (sic) Wolfe City and Mrs. Irene Dunn, of Mesquite; one sister, Mrs. Eddie Missicks, of Fort Worth; eighteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Eldridge was preceded in death by her husband, April 10, 1966. Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
